Full Bio

Arnaud Pfeffer, born in 1992,  is a French  industrial designer and digital artist based in Paris. He combines the precision of machines with the softness of hand drawing, creating artworks that explore the balance between exact mechanical movement and the natural marks left by brushes, pens, and inks. By modifying machines like pen plotters and tattoo devices, he adds a personal, human touch to digital designs.

Pfeffer draws inspiration from everyday shapes and uses 3D design software to create his work, which he then produces using various tools and printing methods. His focus on color and texture comes from layering inks and experimenting with different drawing tools. Influenced by the maker movement, Pfeffer’s practice combines craft and technology, showing that the process of creating is just as important as the final piece.

Pfeffer uses his art to design expansive visual worlds for fashion, food, retail, and innovation brands, with clients including Burberry, Petit Pli, Paper Collective, and Rimowa. His work has been featured in key international exhibitions and platforms, including SHOWstudio in London, the Drawing Future performance in collaboration with Caran d’Ache in Lausanne, the generative art show COLOR[FRAME] at Galerie Data, and the 2025 Biennale Internationale du Design, in France.
