FAQ

Why the name Ragnar Digital?

Ragnar Digital started as a small collection of early computer art, with the name Ragnar representing a pirate outside of the traditional art world. As the collection outgrew the original resources, it was converted to Ragnar Digital, LLC, to enable additional sources of funding, educational activities, contributions from the community, and more.

I'm an investor/collector/art institution. Who can I contact for more information?

How do you preserve the works in the collection?

Preserving and stewarding works is our number one mission. Physical items such as plotter drawings and early printouts were often made on cheap, brittle paper, and require extra care. We follow industry best practices on storage and archives. Artworks are kept in humidity, temperature, and light-controlled storage. Displayed works are framed with UV resistant glass and are exhibited only for brief periods of time. NFTs are kept in a corporate multi-sig digital wallet.
