A landmark issue of Japan's leading contemporary-art journal, devoted to the convergence of art and technology, and a key document of the Computer Technique Group (CTG).

The issue is bound with two large fold-out appendices.

Appendix 1, The Historical Development of Technology and Art (テクノロジーと芸術の歴史的展開) by Sakamoto Masaharu and Takada Shūchi, is a multi-color poster charting the progress of technology and art.

Appendix 2 is the catalogue of the International Psytech Art Exhibition «ELECTROMAGICA '69» (国際サイテック・アート展) — held at the Sony Building, Ginza, in April 1969 and edited by CTG .

The "Man and Technology" feature illustrates CTG's Automatic Painting Machine No. 1, the group's interactive, paint spray-painting robot .
