Perspective Pillar Collection

Computer Technique Group (CTG)

1968

Print

43"x31"

Description

Each cell of the grid is a cluster of rectangular pillars drawn in perspective and bursting outward from a center. This image is repeated with random variation across the sheet.

Unlike most of the collection, the work was not part of the Cybernetic Serendipity submission. It was shown for the first time at the group’s Tokyo Gallery exhibition in September 1968 and went on to the Mechanical Design show at the Toppan Building that October, then to Buenos Aires and Hannover.
