The CTG Collection

Description

Rows of small, closed figures cross the field. For each figure, the number of vertices is fixed in advance but their placement is decided by random numbers. In this way, each polygon is alike but different in implementation.

The Cybernetic Serendipity catalog lists this work with Haruki Tsuchiya having credit for both idea and program. This work is perhaps the purest information-aesthetics of the group’s output, standing closer to works Nake and Nees were plotting in Germany than to the Kennedy series.
