Twisted Circle

Computer Technique Group (CTG)

1968

Print

43"x31"

Description

In this work, a circle drawn as a fan of radial strokes is put through a stepwise distortion. One variable increases row by row causing the figures to reduce symmetry until ending as an angular scribble.

The sheet is the full large format of the group’s domestic silkscreen production — far larger than the lithographs published in London.
